Oxford Ignite Textbook 3- pg 23

Activity 2a- Write a paragraph in which you describe a zombie or monster. Make it a gory paragraph like the one by Charlie Higson and bear in mind what he says about 'confronting our fears'.

   All the people gathered there, stood in shock as a green slimy hand erupted from the place where the body of late Mr.Jen was kept. The skin was cracked, with the veins out, popping and causing blood to trickle to the ground. The nails were like claws which gashed the stone as they scraped them. The head slowly came out and then, the rest of the body. The skin was ripped in many places, exposing bones and muscle fibers. The whole place was quiet...Until a 5 year old girl screamed and ran away from that place, with her parents and relatives behind her.
